There is a lot of preparation that goes into getting a bride ready for her wedding day.
Here are three tips to help make the most of your bridal “prep” time.
1.Minimal Distractions-
Keep the environment as clutter free as possible (or at the very least move everything to one side of the room when you are done). Nothing looks worse than a cluttered background filled with empty glasses, hair straighteners and someone’s sticky bra!
2. Natural Lighting-
We all have had the dreaded moment when after hours in the bathroom, we catch a glimps of our hard earned look in a car mirror and boy-oh-boy does it look different. Don’t let that be you! Get ready by a window or ask your makeup artist if they provide additional lighting. Ring light’s are a bride’s best friend!
3. Breathe It In-
It can be so easy to get caught up in all the buzz, but take a moment to relax and enjoy the time with your girlfriends. Have a glass of something fizzy and try not to breathe in the clouds of hairspray as you practice your vows one last time, say a prayer or open the special gift that your partner left for you. This is the last few seconds before the whole day starts, so enjoy your “me-time”.
