Capturing Beauty

At long last, I have found my calling. Even since I was a small child, I would stare at images in books and magazines for hours, studying the expression on the subject’s face, trying to write the story their features told.

Now, I am the creator of those stories; telling unspoken words through every gaze into the camera. After years of searching for my true identity as a photographer, I have settled firmly on photographing women.

As women, we often don’t see ourselves as the creatures of beauty that we truly are. Through stylized photo sessions, the inner-goddess that is within each of us can come to the surface and captivate the camera.

Meet Shelby, a local makeup artist with a spicy personality and a laugh that can light up the room.  The minute she walked into the studio for her boudoir session, we were having a blast. Every frame was pure magic since her inner glow was infectious.
